T3-Max-25 is an oral medication made by Maxtreme. The active ingredient is Liothyronine (T3). Liothyronine is not an anabolic steroid, it is a hormonal product of thyroid activity. The main chemical ingredient of the drug can be called liothyronine-sodium, which has similar characteristics with the natural hormone L-Liothyronine, or L-T3. The latter in the human body also produces the thyroid gland.
A healthy thyroid gland normally produces 2 hormones: L-Liothyronine (L-T3) and L-thyroxine (L-T4). In thyroxin, the biological activity is poorly expressed, but with the participation of the enzyme monodeiodinase, dependent on selenium, the hormone is converted into more active Liothyronine (T3). Complex chemical transformations indicate the following: the main hormonal effect falls on T3, the prohormone T4 plays a minor role in the transformation of the active form of triiodothyronine.
The synthetic equivalent of TZ is Liothyronine, which acts on the body similarly to its natural “fellow”. The drug is able to influence all the processes occurring in the body. Initially TK exceeds the hormone T4 in strength, therefore the artificial analogue acts much more efficiently than the products created from thyroxin.
According to the clinical studies of German specialists, the hormone Liothyronine obtained by the method of synthesis exceeds the efficiency of similar drugs, which include thyroid hormones. It was also noted the speed of exposure to T3 compared with other means.
Liothyronine and bodybuilding
The use of Liothyronine in sports is justified by a number of positive points:
- Metabolism is accelerated due to faster metabolism of proteins, carbohydrates and fats;
- Faster lipolysis (fat burning).
- Often, Liothyronine is used before important championships, competitions. By reducing the level of fat in the tissues of the body without exhausting diets, it is possible to improve the results. The combined use of small doses of Liothyronine and steroids enhances the mutual effect of drugs on each other. The body better absorbs the hormone of the pancreas, which, however, accelerates protein metabolism.
In practice, bodybuilders of both sexes use Liothyronine for a long time. Inflated, toned and beautiful body – the result of muscle growth and eating high-calorie foods. Balanced nutrition is perfectly complemented by Liothyronine, which quickly and efficiently burns extra calories.
One of the difficulties of using Liothyronine is the correct dose calculation. Many athletes use an intuitive selection of dosage. Excess TK volumes lead to severe weight loss. Losses will affect muscles more than fat. Practice knows cases of loss of about 10 kg in muscle mass due to improper reception of TK in excessive proportions. Thus, we can talk about exceeding the dosage and death of the sporting achievements of the bodybuilder.
Optimally selected dosage can work wonders: the speed and ease of parting with excess subcutaneous fat on drying are stunning. The most common and safe dose is 50 micrograms daily ½ hour before breakfast. The use of Liothyronine must be combined with a high-protein diet. The athlete must consume pure protein (2 g per kg of weight). In order for the level of endogenous Liothyronine to be at a high level, it is sometimes useful to unload days from a strict diet.
The period when only muscle mass is gained can also be combined with the use of TK, only at a lower dose – 25 mcg daily. This will enhance protein synthesis.
The form of Liothyronine used by athletes is a pill.
Urgent weight loss and a small loss of muscle mass is possible when taking the following composition: from 200 to 240 mg of clenbuterol, together with 2 μg of Liothyronine per 1 kg of athletic weight. This dosage is considered a shock and does not allow prolonged use (up to 21 days).
If the athlete’s goal is to burn subcutaneous fat reserves, a combination of TK and IGF-1 is perfect. At this dosage, muscle mass is not increased.
